Hebron Massacre

Do you know about Hebron Massacre?? come on ikhwah wa akhawat.. this matter was seriously important!!

Hebron massacre : The Massacre took place on February 25, 1994, when an American trained Physician, Dr.Baruch Goldstein, stormed in on the group of prayers in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron and opened fire on them.

In doing this, he wished to materialize the dream of the typical Zionist movement of annihilating the Arab existence in Palestine. Goldstein, who was killed during this massacre, was later hailed as hero for his murder.

One early morning, dated 25^th February 1994 while all of us were busy doing our own things. A few hundred Muslims went to perform Subh prayers in Ibrahimi Mosque. (It is located in Beit Jibrin, 29km north of Hebron (al-khalil), Palestine. It is the memorial site of Prophet Adam, Ibrahim, Ishaq, Ya’cob and Yusuf.)

Without their knowledge, a Jew by the name Dr.Baroukh Goldstein was preparing to launch an attack. He was accompanied by a group of Jewish settlers and Zionist soldiers. Goldstein was carrying his military machine gun, some hand grenades and a lot of ammunition.

When the Muslims prostrated towards the qiblah, he fired the machine gun upon them. Meanwhile, Zionist soldiers closed the mosque doors to prevent the congregation from fleeing. They also denied entrance to those coming from outside to rescue the wounded.

Others outside the mosque were shot dead by Israeli soldiers outside the mosque. The massacre led to 50 deaths, 29 of which occurred inside the mosque. More than 300 muslims were wounded in the attack. Today, 14 years after the Hebron Massacre, The question remains…
